1.1         This constitutes the Privacy Policy of Brand Your World LTD, trading as Leading Culture Destinations (the “Company“), the owner of leadingculturedestinations.com and m.leadingculturedestinations.com, (together, the “Website“), all the related mobile and desktop applications (the “Apps“) and all related content, features, widgets, tools, data, software, APIs (which may also be subject to separate API Terms of Use) and other services provided by the Company (the “Services“). The term “Brand Your World LTD” or “us” or “we” or “our” refers to the owner of the Website, a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 067 4374 2.

1.2         If you continue to browse and use the Website, Apps or Services, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following Privacy Policy in full, which together with our Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between us and you in relation to your use of the Website, Apps or Services. If you disagree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you must not use the Website, Apps or Services.

1.3         Brand Your World Ltd is subject to all applicable laws and regulations relating to the protection of personal data and privacy in the United Kingdom including (without limitation) the EU Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC, the EU Directive on privacy and Electronic Communications 2002/58/EC, the Data Protection Act 1998, the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000, the Data Protection (Processing of Sensitive personal data) Order 2000 and all other industry guidelines (whether statutory or non-statutory) or Codes of Practice issued by the Information Commissioner relating to the processing of personal data or privacy or any amendments and re-enactments thereof.

1.4         We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of the Website, Apps and Services users; this policy sets out how we will treat your personal information.

1.5         The Website, Apps and Services use cookies. We will ask you to consent to our use of cookies in accordance with the terms of this policy when you first use the Website, Apps or Services.


2.1         If you are merely visiting the public areas of the Website, Apps or Services we do not collect any personal data about you; however, we may automatically collect information about your visits, such as user traffic patterns and site use. Information collected in this way does not reveal your contact details or any type of personal data. 2.4         When registering for the Website, Apps or Services, you may be asked to login using your Facebook, Google Plus, Twitter or other social media account. You will be asked for permission to access selected social media account data, which enables your use of the Website, Apps or Services. This data is stored by us against your profile. You can choose what personal information is displayed on the Website, Apps or Services in the Account Settings page. When you login using a social media account the application will check for any changes and update your profile accordingly. Additionally if you amend details in the ‘About You’ section this data will be retained as the master copy of your data. If you choose to deactivate your account all your data is deleted. Your Facebook, Google Plus, Twitter or other social media account will be unaffected.

2.5         If you enter a competition you should read the terms and conditions of that promotion which will confirm how we will use any personal data submitted as part of the entry to the competition. By entering a competition you give permission for us to pass your details to any third party sponsor of the competition so they may contact you in the event that you win the competition. If you do not win the competition your details will not be passed on without your explicit permission.

2.6         We may also collect additional information in connection with information you provide when giving us feedback or completing profile forms.



3.1         We collect data from information supplied by you. When you give us your email address, you are asked to let us know how it can be used. You may ‘opt in’ to receive regular email newsletters that contain information we believe to be of value to you, specifically regular content updates, events, special discounts and offers selected by our marketing department.

3.2         All marketing emails will contain a link to opt out of further communications from us.  If you make a purchase via the Website, Apps or Services the assumption may be made that you will be interested in similar products and you may receive emails with information about these products. Unless you expressly opt out, any personal data that you provide when signing up on a co-branded page will be shared with the third party supplier in question.

4.7         We will not without your express consent provide your personal information to any third parties for the purpose of direct marketing.
